The following are Digital Art File Specifications for electronic art you send to The Corporate Saver. Specific requirements may exist for each job. Your Corporate Saver order assistant will specify these to you when you make your product selection.
GRAPHIC PROGRAMS WE CAN ACCEPT
Vector images (drawings) done in Illustrator are preferred over bitmapped images (photos and scans). Bitmapped images will incur additional art charges. We can work with all of the following Windows and Macintosh programs. If artwork was prepared by a program not listed below please call the Art Department.
- Adobe Illustrator 10.0 (*.ai, *.eps)
- Corel Draw 7.0 (*.cdr)
- Adobe Photoshop 5.5 (*.psd, *.tif)
- Quark Xpress 4.0 (*.qxd)
FONTS
Convert your text to outlines (paths) if no further text editing has to be done. If this can not be done see the following instructions.
From MAC: Emailed Mac fonts can not be opened at PCI they must be placed on a disk. You may inquire if we already have the font needed.
From Windows: Please supply all necessary TrueType and Type 1 (Adobe Postscript) fonts that are included in your files. If using Type 1 fonts, please remember to supply both screen and printer font files. NOTE: Windows Users be sure to also include the AFM files that accompany your Type 1 fonts.

COMPRESSION
When submitting on disk, we prefer files not to be compressed. If compression is necessary save photoshop files in the TIF format with LZW and other file formats can be compressed using ZIP or Stuffit compression.
OTHER ARTWORK INFORMATION
Please send accurate printouts with size, placement and color and a directory listing all file names and types. Send all the files that pertain to the job. Save bitmapped files at 300 dpi or higher.
